Certification Track
Two Step Process
For Certification

Participation in a “Getting the Love You Want" Couples Workshop.

Possession of an advanced degree (masters or doctorate) in the mental health field.

300 hours of post-graduate supervision (150 hours may consist of group supervision).

Membership in a recognized professional association (e.g. NASW for clinical social workers, AAMFT for marriage and family therapists, AAPC for pastoral counselors, APA for psychologists, AMA for psychiatrists).

Establishment or development of a clinical practice with couples.

License to practice psychotherapy if required by your state or province.
Each applicant will be considered on his or her own merits. If you do not have all of the above credentials please let us know and we will work with you.
The course is offered in two sections
The first part is a 96 hour (12-day) training program which is usually completed in three sessions, each four days long. The sessions are scheduled over a period of time to enable trainees to practice with clients and prepare videos of their work using Imago Dialogue.
The 12 days of training is follow by 6 months of monthly consultation to further develop the skills learned. Monthly supervision includes preparation of the final clinical video of a full Imago Session.
Continuing Education
American Psychological Association: CE Learning Systems, LLC is approved by American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
Association of Social Work Boards: CE Learning Systems (Provider #1020) is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of State Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education ACE program. CE Learning Systems, LLC maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Approval Period: 02/23/2016 – 02/23/2021.
