This workshop addresses the four most common challenges to effective couple’s work, and the essential skills needed to meet these challenges in couples therapy.  Integrating these skills into your practice will add a new dimension to your work with couples, and families.   You will find your work is more effective, fun, and provides greater long-term benefits for you, your clients, and  your practice.

You will benefit with insights and practical tools to use with your clients to:

  1. Keep couples sessions emotionally safe

  2. Guide couples to develop their natural capacity for empathy while eliminating judgment and blame

  3. Regulate the flow of energy and information between partners

  4. Lead couples toward resolving conflicts through expressions of Desire

  5. Earn 6 CE hours NBCC Approval No. SP-3849

William (Tony) Victor, D.Min., LCPC is the Co-founder and co-owner of the Midwest Relationship Center, LLC.  Dr. Tony is the past dean and a clinical faculty member of the Imago International Training Institute.  He has provided advanced clinical training globally, and has been in private practice for over 30 years specializing in couples therapy.  His articles have been published in First for Women Magazine and several of the Illinois Counseling Association journals.
